Mobile Rss For Iphone

March 21 Comments Category: iPhone

Mobile RSS is a great app by Dallas Brown. I use Vienna on my Mac and this on my iPhone.

You can download the app thru installer. Once in place, go to your computer and export your feeds as an OPML file. Save this somewhere easy and open your SFTP client. I love CyberDuck but you choose.

Then – USB your iPhone in and connect to it (I have detailed how to do this here: http://www.jonathanmacdonald.com/?p=345)

Drag the OPML file into directory ‘var/mobile’ and on the iPhone click on the RSS icon.

Click on ‘Import’ and you will see your OPML file.

Then you will want to ‘refresh all subs’ and bingo – all your live feeds on your iPhone.

Click here to read a bit more and to download.

By the way – Dallas is looking at ways of improving this so feel free to let him know your thoughts by clicking here. Tell him I sent ya :)
