Seat Back And Relax

–
It feels like I spend a lot of my life with the above view.
I rarely sit behind someone who doesn’t recline their seat as soon as the plane takes off and the person who does so, almost always has the same head as pictured above.
I haven’t had the inclination to trend analyse the link between that type of head and the instant recline but I’m fairly sure there’s something in it..
The question is whether one should also recline, but to date I never have.
Would I recline if nobody was behind me? Absolutely.
Would I recline if the person behind me had also reclined? For sure.
So actually its as much to do with the presence and/or behaviour behind me, as it is in front.
But here is where the links get even more spooky.
The person behind me is almost always a quiet female who is reading a magazine.
She is relaxed, calm and under-stated.
She travels on her own and never moves. Sure, the pages turn but she never reclines.
I think they may be in it together.
